Review of Little Bop Carnival | Family Mini Fest
We loved it, such a good day and amazing atmosphere! My only criticism is all prices for drinks should be on show or if asking what drinks are in the fridges the staff should be saying how much they are just so we are aware paying over £8 for a can was a little steep! But we would definitely go again if there was another one or event like it! Thank you

What an excellent afternoon out with our little ones ! My daughter has been asking to go to a festival with me for some time and this was the perfect way to introduce her to it all. Everything From the glitter face paints.. unicorn head bands to the inflatables included in the price of the ticket was brilliant.. entertainers was top notch.. it was the perfect afternoon out with such a lovely vibe wish we could have stayed longer ! Can't wait to for the next one to have a boogie with my mini me.. smiles all round. Made perfect by the sunshine..

Honestly I don't like causing a fuss and try to make the best of situations but this "carnival" was a rip off. They played early 2000s music, what 2-7 year old knows Steps and 5ive? I paid £12 for my 2 year old and all he could do was play one of drums splayed out under a mini gazebo. The free attractions were aimed at older kids and were pretty naff and the host was snarky and condescending. We paid £50 for a family (early bird tickets) and then paid £15 to get glitter on my kids face and some wool in her hair. Overall a big rip off and the attractions should've been soo much better.. they could have at least had a bouncy castle!

The music live music with the colourful dancers and fire performance was brilliant. My daughter loved the costumes and getting photos with the cartoon characters. Shame it wasn't a bit longer but overall highly recommended day out!

Review of Little Bop Carnival | Family Mini Fest
It took 30 minutes to get in despite paying for a slot from 10.00 - 12.30. The venue was small and the queues for each thing were big. We queued for 30 mins to get food and then got told to leave once we finally sat down to eat it. Disappointing, a good idea, poorly executed.

Review of Little Bop Carnival | Family Mini Fest
Unfortunately this event wasn't very well organised. We queued for nearly 40 minutes to get in and had arrived ten minutes before the start time. As it was only a morning event it meant we hardly had any time to do any of the activities. The queues inside were also very long, which meant we didn't order any food. The event was advertised as having kids steet food but again this wasn't the case, only adults sized burgers, hot dogs and loaded fries. A lot of the activities were for 5 year old plus so we couldn't do any of those, resulting in a lot of disappointment from my 3 year old. The entertainment was good however it was very loud for the size of the space, a lot of kids found it too noisy. The face painting was very good and there were some nice activities like drumming. If the event was better coordinated it would be a really good one, just needs better organisation.

Overcrowded and overpriced school fete. Very long queues for food - 45 mins! No space to dance as area was taken up by queues for facepainting (which was an additional cost), and very large carnival costumes (which were lovely but not practical for such a small area). Event advertised as suitable for 2 and over, but I would say it would be better for 6+ as there was little suitable for our 4 year old. Ultimately, thoroughly underwhelming, and given overcrowding, at times, unsafe. Would not recommend at all.

Review of Little Bop Carnival | Family Mini Fest
This was a very expensive event with a lot of queues. I spent £44 for my family to get in, then a fortune on food and drinks. Although we had fun, and the staff were nice, we had to queue to get in, then spent forever in the queue for face painting, followed by another massive queue for food. This is to be expected to some extent, but the system of sessions meant that there was no time left to enjoy the rest of the event. I had hoped the food would make up for it, but it was pretty low quality. My burger cost £9 and was not good: basic bun with some mashed avocado and sriracha. In the end, we dropped well over £100 in total on the event. My daughter had fun, and she LOVED the fire eaters and all the carnival costumes, but it was over in a flash. I wouldn't attend another one of these events.

Very poor options for those under 5. Went with friends as a group with our children and there was almost nothing in the way of choices for them (5 kids, all under 5). Very cramped to get between spaces and queues for drinks/food were ridiculous. Gave up on food eventually and left.
Such a shame as the music and atmosphere were good. Complete rethink needed on venue (somewhere with a grassy area to allow for sitting down), activities for younger ones (soft play area, ball pit, anything like that would've been better) and options for food.
Felt like we'd spent money to sit in the shaded area with our little ones.

Review of Little Bop Carnival | Family Mini Fest
Absolute joke, nothing for 3 year old to do, no magician as stated, a couple of cheap Aldi toys for kids to throw rope onto, £5 for face painting and £20 for hair braid, alcohol being served to parents from 10am, very very expensive event with nothing to do, we left after 40 minutes of walking around in circles trying to find something to do, it should of been advertised as a disco

Was really overpriced for a ticket (£5 would have been acceptable), space was too small for amount of people and activities. Queued for a long time to get in. When there spent the entire time in queues for activities (which you had to pay for on top of very overpriced ticket) and food which was expensive and poor quality, and expensive drinks. Event was over by the time we'd queued for face painting and food. Felt chaotic, cramped and overcrowded and stressful.
