A Friday night of early 20th century ragtime, blues and jazz at Jamboree with the brilliant Rigmarollers launching their new single and LP, with an opening set from Leonie Evans.
Featuring Ed Hopwood (vocals, harmonica, percussion, guitar), Julian Marshall (guitar, fiddle, mandolin) and Ewan Penkey (sousaphone), The Rigmarollers bring their unique take on the blues, celebrating their new single 'The Duke of Rent'! A trio with a massive sound, they put vocals, harmonica, guitar and sousaphone over an irresistible backbeat. Over the last year they have made the leap to festival headliners, and have an album - '21st Century Speakeasy Music’' is on the way in June. “A joy” - Bournemouth Echo
In support, the ace Leonie Evans plays her distinct brand of folk and jazz.
DJ Rohan Voo will also keep the dancefloor moving through the night.
