Return of Zombie-zombie to Manchester
24th Nov 2008
Zombie-Zombie
Ooh lal la! Parisian undead analogue disco rockers Zombie-Zombie bring their organic kraut-disco 'bleeps in the night' to Manchester to fulfill a promise to return made to Manchester's Wot God Forgot promotions. The promise to come back to Manchester was made after the band had to cancel several gigs in September at the end of an exhaustive UK tour.
"We're so pleased that they decided to come back." said Ciaran from Wot God Forgot, Manchester's alternative specialist promoters. "They we're a victim of their own success and although we booked them a long time before their album [A Land For Renegades] was released the reviews were so good that just about everyone wanted them for festivals and in the end something had to give. Etienne was very disappointed that they had to cancel their Manchester gig but he promised they would be back as soon as they could."
And so a band described by the NME as one of 10 bands worth getting up for are indeed coming back to Manchester courtesy of Wot God Forgot and the The Ruby Lounge, 26/01/09.
We're an official outlet for all the following events, plus our tickets are guaranteed the lowest price!

Apart from the preview of the gig in The Guardian today (24/01/08)there has been interest also from XFM, BBC Radio and about a dozen or so reviewers from online 'zines who have been asked to go on the guest list.
The band have just one more European gig before flying over to Manchester to play at The Ruby Lounge for Wot God Forgot. Last night the Zombie-Zombie myspace web site recorded just over a 1000 plays. Not bad.
After our gig Etienne and Cosmic Neman will be guest DJ's at the after gig party at Joshua Brooks after midnight.
Hey good lads. Zombie Zombie are pretty good live and I am told the live set is just like the album only with more of a vibe.
