Off the Rails @ Plug 04/04 win Tickets!
3rd Apr 2008
Off the Rails is proud to announce that once again Neutral at Plug
will be taken over by a world class line up, as youve come to expect from OTR,
for you to get your teeth well and truely into. Consider this an official
reminder to prepare your self for what we have in store; this could well be our
best outing to date. The best in lighting, sound and lasers are at the top of
our list to have you begging for more. Wow factor is our absolute priority!
Headlining this month is the legendary Thrillseekers who for almost 10 years now have been at the very forefront of the world’s dance scene captivating crowds across the globe with tough, cutting edge sets and phenomenal production skills. Catapulted to fame with the release of ‘Synaesthesia’ the Thrillseekers have gone from strength to strength. Fluid mixing, unique style and energetic performances have given the Thrillseekers the adoration of trance lovers everywhere and will no doubt be displayed to perfection at this month’s event.
Also on the bill, and fast becoming regarded as the next big British DJ sensation, is former Godskitchen resident Jon O’Bir. Continued success from his radio show, Ways and Means, and record label, Conspiracy recordings, along with his first artist album due for worldwide release could well turn 2008 into his biggest year to date. Recent associations with the iconic Paul Van Dyk will see O’Bir playing a series of Vandit nights as well this year making this possibility seem ever more likely. His proven ability to deliver flawless warm ups as well as driving, energetic peak time sets make him a prime contender for OTR.
Next up is none other than Genix, the official world record holder for the longest DJ set in history! 84 hours (that’s almost 4 days!) of constant mixing earned him the accolade but his talents don’t stop there. His musical abilities and gritty determination have gained him massive support from the very best in superstar DJ’s, collaborating and remixing with many of the biggest names around. He has achieved a lot for a DJ of such a young age recently developing a new sound combining trance, techno and electro genres. Don’t miss your opportunity to see Genix in action, you won’t be disappointed!
James Alexander, a favourite at clubbing giant Goodgreef, takes our final guest slot this month. Named as Mixmag’s future hero 2004, recent work of his includes remixes of both the massive Delirium –Silence and Goldenscan – Halcyon. With reworks of anthems that literally helped shape trance as we know it, as well as his own record label Descon successfully under his belt, he is no doubt a name to watch out for.
Last but by no means least OTR residents The Art of Noise will be there living up to their name as always. Driving bass lines and relentless energy have come to be expected from these guys and it’s guaranteed that they will deliver this and more.
