Los Campesinos! to tour with heroes

Indie fans wondering what's on in London in October might like to scribble one particular date in their diary in indelible ink.

Cardiff's finest Los Campesinos! have announced details of their Shred Yr Face tour, for which they have recruited support from personal heroes of the band No Age and Times New Viking.

The London date will be at the Electric Ballroom on October 20th, with stops at Liverpool's Carling Academy (15th) and Manchester Academy 3 (22nd) also on the itinerary.

Speaking about the choice of support - which is presented in conjunction with The Coalition and Drowned in Sound - Gareth from Los Campesinos! said the bands "are undoubtedly two of the best, most exhilarating live bands in the world right now - and to have the chance to tour on such a brilliant line up is as intimidating as it is exciting. It promises to be incredible".

This month, Gareth and his cohorts will be playing at the Greenman, Reading and Leeds festivals.
