Re: UBER IS BACK - NIC FANCIULLI - Sat 29th November

no she's real, she's called rachel and I managed to wake up next to her on sat and sunday morning which was nice. I went to school with her and we're both other here at uni in Newcatle Been taking her out for a few drinks for a while and his weekend seemed to just up things a little. She woke up in my carlisle united 1994 deckchair strip too which was a litle bit nice!

Yes Uber was really good Nic was class and we are hoping to have him back later next year. We had a really good turnout considering Andy C was on the night before and that we hadnt done a night for 8 months so really chuffed with it.

Re: UBER IS BACK - NIC FANCIULLI - Sat 29th November

Andy C was rammed and the place was going absolutely nuts until the fire alarm went off.

I think Lockdown were done a favour by being chucked out of Concrete without any real explanation.
The atmosphere on Friday would not have been possible in Concrete because when the Brickyard is packed it becomes the closest thing in Carlisle to the kind of underground experience you find in bigger cities.

I know the Lockdown boys took quite a hit financially because of the fewer numbers you can pack into the Brickyard, but the night has gone a long way to cement their reputation, and if they plan ahead, I don't see any reason for them to not be able to make some of that money back by putting on a few more nights at lower costs.

I've never seen any crowd in this town go quite as crazy for a DJ as much as they did Andy C. His music isn't really my cup of tea but it was great seeing the Brickyard bouncing again like it used to in the days when the dance nights got packed every time.
