Re: Hello, My name is...

Fran, 28, lazy student twat. Like getting out of England when the chance presents itself, moaning about the UK/football/women/price of weed, my degree is in animal conservation science (or as my labouring and truck driving mates like to call me, 'tax dodging tree hugging hippy cunt') and I want to fuck off to some far flung hut in the middle of nowhere and save a little bit of the world. Or sit on my arse. In South America. Or anywhere that aint fucking Carlisle.

Like all kinds of music, grew up listening to house and trance and the like, but my tastes have mellowed somewhat, as I'm currently enjoying Tunng and Au Revoir Simone.

Die hard Carlisle United fan, and the only thing I'll miss when I finally get out of here.

Stephen Alexander. Novelist, poet, jazz musician, painter, cycle courier and after dinner speaker. ;-)

Hellooooo Skiddle people of the world!! I'm Ste, 28, and I co-run a club night namely For No Reason in Preston and anywhere else that will generally let our bunch of lovable reprobates come and spin some tunes and boogie.

Through this, I too have acquired an abbreviated pseudo-name in the form of SteveFNR. I like listening to music, chatting to people, persuading people to leave the house to do something interesting and in my spare time being as horizontal as possible.

Actually the last part isn't fully true.. I have a history of horizontalness no matter what the occasion, public transport, cinema, work ...hence always being that lad in school who would fall off his chair, a lot. Much to the amusement of the class. Anyhow, the laughs and the torment didn't discourage me from future horizontal action as in my opinion it is truely mint!

I support the blues, Everton FC, and my claim to fame is the manager David Moyes trained our U15's footy team, Springfield Juniors FC. The football career didn't get much better than that. I have an amazing and talented girlfriend, Holly. She is a very lucky young woman ;-). I have a reputation for being late, so much so my friends now fabricate earlier meet up times of 30 mins or more in an attempt to rectify the lateness (although i sometimes account for this when planning my journey). My favourite colour is purple.

Nice to meet you guys (in a wierd internet kinda way) and hopefully see you all at Wickerman 2009. If you walk past a tent in the dance village and you hear some warm, organic, deep, stripped back house music then i will most probably be in there!

Peace and Love

Ste

xx

PS. (FNR Plug) If anyone hasn't yet been to Lancashire's leading underground house night (!) ...and would like to make the trip over to sample the monthly goods, then give me a shout and i'm very positive it may be possible to arrange some guest list business!

Re: Hello, My name is...

Alan Murphy likes taking his puppies for walks in the park in an attempt to win the attentions of young unsuspecting children. Fact.

The brown paper bagged special brew and boozey breathe dont go down too well with the kids or the authorities. Fortunately, for the sanctity of youthful innocence he is now banned from most public spaces in the Lancashire area.

Wink

He's excellent at mixing records though so he'l do for me Smile

Re: Hello, My name is... Luan..

Hello All, I'm Luan and I live in Denton Manchester. I am mad on music especially live Music and Dj's I like allsorts really but House, breakbeats and electro would be my faves. I love going to gigs and best live performances I have had the pleasure of seeing have been from... The prodigy... Underworld... Orbital... Chemical bros.. Best this year has to be Scratch perverts at Global Glathering ( it was hot man!!!) the weather I mean. And the music was faboulous..... Trophy twins were the bomb too!! The rest is but a blughhhh. Am deffo aiming to go to spectrum very soon as I have heard it is ace. Club wise I'm a bugger for Sankeys because I like to listen to quality music on a quality sound system. I do miss old Sankeys though I kinda Liked the tattiness of it and Freaky dance moves and sweat were most welcome.

bye all... How do you get friends on here!!! Only just joined.
