Re: uber

I appreciate what uber has done for the scene in carlisle but would like to see the powers take it further and sort a warehouse party somewhere. If Manchester can do it? We're all human.

Concrete doesnt do it for me. I need to party where i can roll around in my own piss(if i have to)

I like ubers concept, bringing world class dj's, as well as legends to carlisle, but Mat and Ki, you've shown how you can bring these people to dj in our city, take it further, cos you'll never make a name for yourselves in a place like concrete. Its already failed once??

Dont get me wrong, i've had good times in clubs but i think if you want to make a name for yourselves through uber, concrete isnt the club thats gonna do it for ya.

Re: uber

I wouldnt say we failed. We were stopped. we had 18 months of pretty busy nigts we had the odd quiet one but who doesnt. It was the most well supported night Ive been involved with we had national coverage lots of press and some of the best line ups Carlisle has seen.

As for the Warehouse thing I would do it but Ive never been able to find somewhere walking distance to the city centre. The bigger capacity would allow us to vary the bookings a bit more and offer some variation. If anyone knows of somewhere contact me.

As for making names for ourselves thats not really important to me I have other projects I do not in Carlisle which are bigger and have larger lineups but I just like doing nights i can do in my hometown where you can party with your mates.

Re: uber

Mat, I used to work in the old engine shed at the enterprise centre opposite the swiming baths. I know it's empty at the moment and is perfect for a warehouse rave, It's huge too. Could fit 1000+ in there, Has fire exits and good entry/exit's all ready in place and you could probably rent it of the enterprise centre?
