 henky Posts: 1 Offline | I went to sankeys on sat, also went Godskitchen last week to see him and gotta say their was huge difference in sets. i was a regular old sankeys person and i still go every now and then to the new sankeys but it is a bit too much commercialised now. but his set in manc was no where near as good as his Godskitchen set. i dont know if its cause sankeys has always been a bit more tribal sounding especially the old sankeys but thats how his set seemed, maybe like he was playing to the crowd or what the crowd should be, in either case in my opinion it wasn't as good, all seemed on the same level at sankeys. Dj before played music which just didnt seem to go anywhere, it was just music but thought that might be to link in waht the kind of set prydz played. who knows. was still a cracking night though, just not the best music. |

djsinaman Posts: 29 Offline | ye i'll have some of that rich, be better if you could get the top room for a skiddle dj showcase special, What do you think? it could end up a new monthly night, dont know about anyone else but am willing to role my sleeves up and get my hands dirty to help get a new night off the ground. |
